Mathematical Foundations

Before an engineer can understand gradient descent, attention, or embeddings, they need a shared vocabulary: what a function is, what a graph shows, what a vector represents, and what matrix multiplication actually computes. This section builds that vocabulary from first principles, using AI-relevant examples instead of abstract textbook problems.
