Regularization

One small clinical table breaks ordinary least squares in two different ways. It holds 442 diabetes patients, ten measurements from a baseline visit (age, sex, body mass index, blood pressure and six blood-serum values) and a number describing how far each patient's disease had progressed a year later. Bradley Efron, Trevor Hastie, Iain Johnstone and Robert Tibshirani built their 2004 paper on least angle regression around it, and scikit-learn ships it as load_diabetes.
