Privacy Policy

Account records include your name, email address, authentication records, active sessions, and security metadata such as session IP address and user agent. Purchase records include the product, amount, currency, provider order and payment identifiers, status, access period, accepted terms version, and, when advertising consent is granted, the campaign parameters associated with that checkout.

Learning operations record limited events such as course landing views, preview views, paywall views, checkout starts, purchases, and daily lab-run counts. When you are signed in, the platform also stores reading percentage, completion state, the last focused-course section, and bookmarks so you can resume learning. It does not store the text you read or code entered into a lab. Support requests include the email, category, message, status, and associated account when signed in.

Razorpay collects and processes card, UPI, banking, wallet, and other payment credentials on its secure checkout. KnowledgeOS does not receive or store complete card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or bank passwords. Razorpay’s own privacy terms apply to its payment processing.

Essential storage supports authentication, security, checkout, and saved preferences. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement is disabled until you make a choice in the privacy panel. If you grant analytics consent, Google may receive page URLs, page titles, course interactions, device and browser information, and generated measurement identifiers. If you grant advertising consent, campaign parameters such as UTM values, GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID may be stored with a checkout and sent to Google to attribute a sign-up or verified purchase to a KnowledgeOS campaign.

KnowledgeOS uses this information to understand aggregate course interest and measure its own advertising. It is not used to decide your learning access, and KnowledgeOS does not sell personal data. You may reject optional measurement or change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

Data is used to authenticate learners, grant and revoke purchased access, prevent duplicate fulfillment, secure accounts, enforce lab limits, troubleshoot failures, process refunds, understand course interest, improve the learning journey, measure campaign effectiveness when permitted, and comply with payment or legal obligations.

KnowledgeOS learning records do not store page text or code submitted to labs. Advertising and analytics identifiers are used only when the corresponding consent has been granted.

Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, payment, and, with your optional consent, Google measurement infrastructure, or where required by law, fraud prevention, or protection of users and systems. Providers are expected to process data for the contracted purpose.

Account, learning progress, bookmarks, and entitlement records are retained while needed to provide the account and its access. Payment and refund records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Support and analytics records are retained only while useful for their operational purpose.

KnowledgeOS uses access controls, server-side payment verification, isolated networkless lab execution, rate limits, and restricted database permissions. No internet service can promise absolute security; suspected incidents are investigated and addressed according to their risk.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of applicable personal data, subject to identity verification and records that must be retained for payment, security, or legal reasons. You can also request account closure or ask a privacy question through support.

Material policy changes will be dated here and applied prospectively. Continued use after notice means the revised policy governs future processing; already completed purchases retain the commercial terms recorded with their order.
