Agent Foundations builds τ-bench's retail customer-service agent from a bare loop and measures every part on the runs Sierra published: what one task costs in model calls, tokens and dollars, how reliable the agent is by pass^k, how it should plan before an irreversible write, what belongs in its context window and its long-term memory, and how its tools report errors and survive retries.
