Yusuf Rossi is the customer in the first five tasks of τ-bench's retail test set. In task 0 he exchanges a keyboard and a thermostat from order #W2378156, and in task 1, with a different fallback preference, only the thermostat; in task 2 he returns items from the same order; in tasks 3 and 4 he changes the t-shirts in his pending orders. He is not unusual. The 115 test tasks involve only 53 customers, and 92 of the tasks belong to a customer who appears in at least one other. Every task starts from the same database with an agent that remembers nothing, so the agent authenticates Yusuf from scratch each time, and τ-bench's expected actions for tasks 2 to 4 open all five of his orders one by one to find the right ones.
