Why MCP?

> In a deliberately simplified all-to-all adapter-count model, 2 hosts and 2 servers require 4 custom host-server adapters or 4 reusable protocol implementations. At 10 hosts and 50 servers, the counts are 500 custom adapters versus 60 reusable implementations. That arithmetic explains protocol reuse; it does not estimate runtime connections, authorization rules, migration effort, or total project cost.
