Volume 11

Volume 11 - Enterprise AI Engineering

Volume 11 is the architecture and operations bridge of the handbook. Earlier volumes teach models, prompts, RAG, agents, and protocols. This volume asks what happens after those mechanisms influence a real workflow: who authorizes action, where state lives, how retries behave, which evidence explains a decision, what a successful outcome costs, and how the service degrades or recovers. The architect-level outcome is not familiarity with a list of products. It is the ability to connect a business promise to contracts, controls, measurable evidence, accountable owners, and tested recovery.

What This Volume Covers

Read the sections in order if you are building from scratch. Experienced readers can jump to a section, but the chapters are sequenced to build vocabulary, mental models, implementation judgment, and architecture readiness.
